Dementia 13

Another DIY band. This time the band is from a hanted basement in Canada!
It is the Rockabilly/Surf band Dementia 13.



When I had brought in my mail this morning I noticed a yellow envelope with my name on it.
It had spooky handwriting on it. Thrilled I opened the letter. First of all some toasted
bugs fell out of it. Then it happened...
...I GOT MY COPY OF "THE PRIMITIVE ONE"! The band's latest EP.
Excited, I ran into my room and put on my stereo. When I took out the CD of the awesome
DIY:ed cover I noticed that it stood "GHOUL-O-PHONIC" instead of the boring "CD-R" and
instead of 80min|700mb it stood "45rpm". And at the bottom of the CD it stood with large
letters; PLAY AT MAXIMUM VOLUME!
...And it's exactly what I did.

The songs are like going to the movies in the 60's to see The Night of the Living Dead.

"Recorded in The Haunted Basement" it says on the back of the cover. I can clearly hear that when I listen to it. It's very oldschool and vintage.

I know it's unusual for me to write about a Psychobilly band. But I just couldn't resist.
